My show is coming back to NYC on March 6-7!π₯ππ½
P.S. You can also live-stream it from home :)
Dear Strawberries,
Allll the details about my New York shows are below, but before that:
A big thanks and a fire update
Thank you to everyone for your check-ins and well wishes regarding the fires here in LA. Kristen and I live a little too close for comfort, so we evacuated for a week and stayed with our friends Aaron and Emily, the very best friends and the most gracious hosts in the world. Weβre back in our apartment now, and grateful that we β and our home β are safe and sound. Needless to say, the destruction around the city is devastating. If youβre able, please consider donating to help our friends Dawn, Dan, and their family rebuild their lives.
A quick work thing and a humble request
After wrapping up some projects late last year, Iβm seeking freelance/contract-based copywriting & content strategy roles, preferably in nonprofits, mental health, education, arts & culture, or other purpose-driven fields. Please send along any opportunities and/or forward along my LinkedIn and portfolio to folks in your network. Thanks a mil!
The Funny Thing About A Panic Attack returns to New York on March 6-7!
Oh! And if you canβt make it/donβt live in New York, youβre still in luck: for the first time, the show will be live-streamed! Grab your in-person or live-streaming tickets here.
As always, Iβm super grateful to so many folks for making this opportunity possible. ESPECIALLY big shoutouts to:
My incredible director, Joanna Simmons, who has truly earned her nickname, βThe Miracle Worker.β
Keri Goff, who created the ICONIC pancake logo and designed ALL the marketing materials, including my tour pack (the main reason I landed this show in NY) and the new poster, which Iβm obsessed with.
Allllll the folks who came to my VERY FIRST production of The Funny Thing back in NYC in April 2024. Your love, encouragement, and wildly valuable feedback were crucial in making this show what itβs become. I super appreciate you and canβt wait for you to see the new version!
With love & thanks & late-night pizza & poetry and pancakes,
Ben
